Job summary

A leading transportation provider in Laval is looking for a Mobile Technician II to assist in diagnosing and repairing major components of vehicles. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in tractor trailer maintenance and proficiency with shop tools. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance and ensuring vehicle safety and compliance. A valid CDL license with air brake certification is required. The position offers a competitive sign-on bonus and an afternoon shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work the required schedule.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.

Skills

Proficiency in the use of shop tools

Ability to read a map

Basic computer skills

Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions

Education
