Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Laval, QC is seeking a Mobile Technician II to inspect, diagnose, and repair major components on class 8 trucks in the field. The position requires 2-4 years of maintenance experience, a valid CDL with air brake endorsement, and a DOT medical card. A sign-on bonus of CAD 5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL license with air brake certification required, able to obtain if not held.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose engines, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, and brake systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and assess wear on major components.
• Inspect and recondition for trade-ins and prepare new equipment for delivery.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper operation and safety.
