Job Description
  • Perform general, periodic, and preventive maintenance on construction equipment.
  • Diagnose identified anomalies and determine their causes.
  • Analyze breakdowns and failures to assess the nature of repairs and the time required to complete them.
  • Carry out all necessary repairs to ensure proper machinery operation.
  • Respond to internal clients' technical questions.
  • Complete work orders and inspection sheets, documenting completed tasks and/or reported defects.
  • Ensure the service vehicle is equipped with all necessary tools before heading to a site.
  • Ensure proper use and functionality of company equipment.
  • Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and organized.
  • Work safely while adhering to company health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance – Strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing construction machinery.
  • Mechanical and Diagnostic Skills – Ability to analyze failures, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Technical Knowledge – Proficiency in working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in construction equipment.
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to complete work orders and inspection reports accurately while ensuring high-quality repairs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Capability to assess issues efficiently and determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Safety Awareness – Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations (OHS) and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
