Job summary

CHSI is seeking a Mobile Clinic Driver/Technician to transport and maintain our mobile units, conduct repairs, and support facilities services at multiple health centers. The role requires driving between locations, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of mobile clinic units.

The position involves varied shifts, potential weekend work, and direct collaboration with the Facilities team. A high school diploma and a valid CA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical knowledge are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing excellent customer service to the population served.
• Schedule regular mobile unit maintenance and report issues.
• Inspect facilities daily for problems and perform routine repairs.
• Maintain and restock the mobile clinic and associated equipment.
• Travel routinely between health center locations and respond to emergencies as needed.
