Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Mobile Repair Specialist to perform medium to heavy mechanical repairs and operate the mobile repair unit to deliver on-site service. You will plan efficient routes, complete repair statements, and maintain parts inventory, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires own hand tools, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical certification may be required for CMV operation.

Qualifications

• Must supply own hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver qualification file required for certain vehicles.
• Medical certificate from a licensed examiner may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medium to heavy mechanical repairs.
• Operate U‑Haul mobile repair vehicle for on‑site service and repairs.
• Route planning to service assigned areas efficiently.
• Maintain repair part inventory and document labor work.
• Assist in other areas as needed following supervisor guidance.
