Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The role involves engaging with members and employers to ensure compliance and efficient administration of the pension fund. Responsibilities include:

  1. Handling walk-in members at various sites, assisting with claim submissions, and providing fund information.
  2. Assisting families with death claims and ensuring members are correctly registered and informed about their benefits.
  3. Ensuring employer compliance with contribution payments and schedules, and issuing compliance certificates to compliant employers.
  4. Managing employer relationships, including new registrations and ongoing communication about industry updates.
  5. Investigating employer compliance, addressing non-compliance issues, and collaborating with legal and compliance teams for enforcement.
  6. Participating in industry forums and union meetings to promote fund awareness and member education.
  7. Maintaining accurate data, preparing weekly reports, and planning travel schedules.
  8. Required skills include Matric, good communication, at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver’s license. Experience with Everest software is advantageous.
