Ontario Redimix, A CRH Company, is currently hiring a Mobile Batcher Operator on a 1-year contract to join our growing team!

The Mobile Batcher Operator is responsible for setting up, taking down, and operating foamcrete equipment. This role provides leadership to ensure good morale and employee relations at the customer site, facilitating communication between customers, drivers, management, and distribution with accuracy and timeliness.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Setup, prepare, and adjust foamcrete processing systems at customer sites.
  • Operate foamcrete processing systems, making adjustments during production as needed.
  • Check delivered products for quality and perform ongoing machine adjustments and minor maintenance.
  • Assist in moving, delivering, setting up, and takedown of foamcrete production equipment.
  • Interface with laboratory, field technicians, and third-party labs to communicate quality objectives and results.
  • Maintain quality management systems to meet KPIs.
  • Keep daily records of test data and generate reports and statistical data.
  • Analyze quality metrics to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage laboratory consumables and inventory levels.
  • Manage invoices and SAP procurement processes.
Position Requirements:
  • Safety-oriented with knowledge of OH&S policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of concrete and aggregates testing (asset).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
