Job summary

Royal York Property Management in the Niagara Region is seeking experienced Appliance Repair Technicians to diagnose and repair residential appliances across our rental properties. You will work independently, manage your own schedule, and use our mobile work app to receive orders and document work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paid professional appliance repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose and complete appliance repairs independently.
• Experience repairing common residential appliances.
• Must have your own reliable vehicle.
• Must have your own appliance repair tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common household appliances.
• Service washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, range hoods, and similar appliances.
• Diagnose appliance issues before replacing parts.
• Complete repairs and part replacements within your verified scope.
• Test appliances before leaving to ensure repairs have been completed successfully.
• Document model and serial numbers, repair notes, photos, and completed work.
• Report additional issues, required parts, or safety concerns.
• Use our mobile work app to receive work orders, navigate using GPS, upload photos, and update job statuses.
• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle.
