Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ bartending experience required.
  • Certification in Serving It Right is mandatory.
  • Skills in beverage preparation and guest interaction are essential.

Imagine arriving to work at one of our multiple exciting food & beverage outlets after a day on the slopes. Morrisey’s Pub is a local and guest favorite with an inviting atmosphere, tasty comfort food, and delicious cocktails. We are looking to recruit a stellar individual for the upcoming season. The Pub Bartenders prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for the bar and patrons, interact with guests, take orders, and deliver excellent hospitality. Compensation: $17.85 per hour

Physical Requirements: Medium; handling loads between 10kg and 20kg; mainly indoor work.

Location: This position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive of $1 per hour worked after completing a full winter season contract. Conditions apply, details shared during interview and onboarding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lift kegs weighing 116kg safely with a team member
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Deliver exceptional Food & Beverage service from seating to completion
  • Manage order replenishments and billing
  • Uphold hospitality standards with warmth and professionalism
  • Assist in other F&B operations, including banquets and restaurant/lounge services
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Represent the destination, sharing knowledge of the Thompson-Nicola region
  • Assist in emergencies, making prompt decisions in guests’ and hotel’s best interest
