Job Summary: Duquesne Light Company (Company) seeks a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the important compliance functions as an electric utility regarding the North American Electric Reliability (NERC) reliability standards for planning and operating the bulk electric system and the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements for cyber and physical security, as well as corporate compliance with the company's policies and procedures and investigations under the company's compliance hot-line. The position also provides compliance services to The Efficiency Network (TEN), an affiliate of DLC.
The Chief Compliance Officer is a leadership position at the Company and requires partnerships across the company, including with the Operations, Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) functions. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate throughout the organization, maintain the Company's culture to go beyond compliance with regulatory requirements, and exhibit a positive tone at the top regarding the value of the compliance function to the Company, employees, customers and regulators. The Chief Compliance Officer reports quarterly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. The Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance function are part of the Office of General Counsel and reports to the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. The Chief Compliance Officer also will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the President and Chief Executive Officer of DLC.

On-Boarding and Transition
The successful candidate will receive the benefit of an on-boarding from, and transition period with, the current Chief Compliance Officer who is retiring.
Hybrid Work:
Position follows Company's hybrid work model, with at least two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role or Company needs. Initially, the successful candidate will be required to report up to three days in the office until sufficient training and knowledge transfer have occurred.
Storm Roles:
Keeping the lights on, and returning our customers to service, during a storm event are core functions for DLC. The Chief Compliance Officer is periodically called upon during a storm to support the Operations team with counsel and advice on compliance requirements and notice to regulatory agencies.
