Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking a MMIS Policy Project Coordinator to lead the SASD Support Team, coordinating complex MMIS, EDMS and BlueZone changes in alignment with state and federal requirements. The role interfaces with ADSA/DSD, MNIT and external partners to advance policy and program integrity.
The position requires expert MMIS knowledge, strong project management, and ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders, including tribal partners and MCOs.
This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework.

The MMIS Policy Project Coordinator serves as the Service Agreement and Screening Document (SASD) Support Team lead subject matter expert within the Aging and Disability Services Administration (ADSA) / Disability Services Division (DSD). As the subject matter expert, this position will serve to develop, coordinate and provide leadwork over complex changes within the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), EDMS and BlueZone systems supporting federal and state statute requirements for administering programs and grants for people with disabilities and aging needs. Programs include but are not limited to the Home and Community-Base Services (HCBS) Waiver Programs, Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI), Developmental Disabilities (DD), Elderly Waiver (EW), Alternative Care (AC), Essential Community Supports (ECS), Minnesota’s Money Follows the Person Demonstration commonly known as Moving Home Minnesota (MHM), State Plan Home Care services, Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services and Community First Services and Supports (CFSS).
3 years professional experience with MMIS and Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP). Experience must include the following:
