Job summary

Southlake Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to perform analyses and interpretation across pathology areas, supporting physicians and staff with technical expertise.

The role requires CSLMS General MLT certification and ongoing education, with a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSLMS certification as a General MLT.
  • 30 hours of continuing education credits every year as per CMLTO Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional laboratory analyses and interpretation across all pathology areas.
  • Serve as a technical resource to staff, physicians, internal and external customers.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and commitment to patient/service excellence.

About the role:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) provides a professional service in laboratory analyses and interpretation all areas of Pathology. The MLT is a technical resource to staff, physicians, internal and external customers.

  • Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSLMS certification as a General MLT
