MLT / CLXT (Allied Health)

The Role : As a Medical Laboratory Technologist / Combined Laboratory and X-ray technologist, you will perform both laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to provide essential diagnostic support in patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Perform laboratory tests and X-ray imaging to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Analyze body fluids, cells, and tissues to detect abnormalities or diseases.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory and radiographic equipment.
• Document, interpret, and communicate test results and imaging findings to the healthcare team.
• Ensure adherence to quality control, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data integrity in laboratory and imaging systems.

Requirements :

• Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist and / or Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist program.
• Current registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
• Competence in both laboratory testing procedures and X-ray imaging.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in both lab and imaging results.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
