Job summary

Stripe is seeking an engineering leader for Risk Detection to build and grow a high-impact team. You will partner with customers and internal teams to make Stripe’s risk management a differentiator and driver of growth.

You’ll recruit and mentor engineers, define strategy, and shape platform direction across Stripe’s risk initiatives, working with distributed teams to deliver end-to-end value.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of engineering management experience.
• Prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating with product, infra, and risk teams to ship impactful features.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in delivering a high level of technical quality and impact via APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems
• Recruit, hire, scale, and develop an amazing team of engineers
• Executing cross-functionally with leadership, product teams, infra teams & risk strategists
• Be actively involved in strategic direction and platform decisions that impact all of Stripe and Stripe customers
