Kinaxis is offering an ML co-op/intern role in Canada, with an opportunity to work on our AI-infused platform. The position supports hands-on machine learning development, microservice code, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will be mentored and gain exposure to production systems, demos for executives, and potential patent work, all while developing practical skills in Python, ML tooling, and software practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ML experience through work terms or hackathons, competitions, etc.
• You have completed 2+ years in a Computer Science or Engineering program.
• Experience with optimization (linear programming, mixed integer problems, solvers) is a plus.
• Enrolled in full-time education or a recent graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Responsibilities

• Work on ML team projects, from tech selection to production code on latest projects.
• Learn from a mentor who provides guidance and support.
• Develop new product ideas and demos for executives and patent applications.
• Access training and start delivering impact within weeks of joining.
• Write Python code for microservice architectures.
• Contribute to AI platform scalability and security.
• Participate in agile processes like sprint planning, stand-ups, pair programming, and retrospectives.
