Your Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with health, safety, quality and environmental management systems as well as corporate and local policies;
- Execute the fulfillment of customers’ orders and requirements through the processes of blending, packaging, order pulling and shipment of goods, packaged and bulk;
- Load and unload packaged and bulk products (Rail and Tanker) in a safe, efficient manner and confirm all appropriate documentation is in order;
- Inspect and verify the satisfactory performance of all equipment and tools used in this area of operations, recommend changes where necessary and actively participate in keeping the work area clean, organized and functional;
- Share in the responsibility of managing the inventory of both finished goods and raw material, ensuring that all material movements are properly documented and safe storage and handling procedures are followed;
- Maintain a level of training and knowledge in accordance with requirements of the position, such as but not limited to forklift training, emergency response, TDG, WHMIS;
- In the event of employee absence, site management will ensure that identified accountabilities are assigned to other designated personnel on site, including suitable cross training, unless otherwise specified.
- Support Job 7 initiatives associated with the position.
- Have flexibility with working hours due to the business requirements (after hours and weekend support).
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial or chemical handling environment
- WHMIS/TDG training would be an asset.
