What You'll Be Doing

1. Safely operate a mixer truck to deliver concrete products to customer sites. Work around the plant and operate equipment as needed.
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
3. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
4. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

What Are We Looking For

1. Three years of experience with a valid class 3 or higher commercial driver's license, with a clean driving record.
2. Must be able to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.
3. Must be able to work overtime as business and weather conditions warrant.
4. Solid knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations and trucking routes.
5. Be in good physical condition, able to lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 50 lbs. Sit and stand for extended periods, kneel, climb ladders and walk on varied terrain.

Conditions of Employment

1. Successful candidate will pass an in-person interview and a road test.
2. Successful candidate must complete a pre-employment physical examination and background check.
3. Driver's Abstract MUST be included when applying.

Work Environment

1. Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
