Position:

Mitigation Technician Crew Chief

Reports To:

General Manager

The Crew Chief will perform restoration projects on water, mold, fire, and specialized cleaning, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Leading the crew to ensure all remediation meets Paul Davis standards. Assist in addressing customer questions to ensure satisfaction.

What does a Mitigation Technician Crew Chief with Paul Davis do?
  • Serve others within your community in their time of need
  • Lead the remediation process of removing all damaged material
  • Perform flood cuts and set up containment for the scope of work
  • Disconnect toilets and sinks for proper removal when needed
  • Communicate the scope of work to clients as needed
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold and fire remediation, asbestos/lead abatement, and carpet cleaning/re-installation services according to company and industry standards under supervision
  • Set up drying equipment and apply sanitizing chemicals
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have a valid driver’s license for transportation
  • Work hours vary based on job scope
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck and equipment
  • Be accessible by phone and participate in on-call schedules
  • Assist with warehousing and facility tasks as needed
  • Support team members and demonstrate leadership
  • Wear PPE as required
  • Work with construction and demolition tools and drying equipment
  • Work in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of restoration experience
  • Trades experience in plumbing or electrical
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Certifications in restoration trades (e.g., IICRC)
