Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Energy and Resources team in Ontario. You will lead design and analysis for mining and heavy industrial infrastructure, mentoring junior staff and coordinating across disciplines to deliver quality solutions.

As a licensed engineer, you will ensure safety compliance, develop construction documents, and travel to project sites as required. Hybrid work with 2 days in-office is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus.
Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
P.Eng. registration in at least one Canadian province.

Responsibilities

Perform structural design and analysis for heavy industrial projects.
Lead design work and mentor junior staff (EITs and designers).
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to execute projects.
Ensure compliance with safety culture and regulations.
Prepare project specifications and construction documents.
Travel to client sites and Stantec offices as needed.
