Agrégat R-N Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for a permanent full-time role at the Côté Gold mine site in Ontario. The role combines laboratory material testing (20%) with administrative duties (80%).

You will handle sampling, data entry, report preparation, and support audits while ensuring safety and accurate documentation in a mining setting. Experience in mining is an asset; bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering, Geotechnical Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Bilingualism (English-French) is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and technical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift samples and work in lab/field environments.

Responsabilités

• Keep track of production numbers and plan testing to meet QA/QC schedule.
• Collect material samples from field locations and production sites.
• Label, log, and track samples for traceability.
• Prepare samples for testing (drying, sieving, splitting, etc.).
• Enter results and data into tracking system and send reports to clients.
• Support internal audits and third-party inspections.
• Operate lab equipment safely and perform calibration checks.
• Maintain lab tools/workspaces and report malfunctions.
