Thyssen Mining is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute mining, construction, and infrastructure projects across underground and surface operations. The role provides technical expertise, project coordination, cost control, scheduling, quality assurance, and contractor management to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of project engineering experience in mining, construction, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting capital projects in underground mining environments preferred.
• Experience working in remote or FIFO mining operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project scopes, work packages, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support project forecasting and provide regular status updates.
