Job summary

Matrix Mechanical seeks a proven mining mechanical leader to advance maintenance operations and field support across surface and underground projects.

You will work closely with the General Manager, Mechanical to improve equipment reliability, strengthen client relationships, and grow mechanical work in mining operations. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and fleet optimization.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certified technician with heavy equipment focus.
• 7+ years supervisory/management experience in mining.
• Experience in surface and underground mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance supervisors and field teams across surface and underground projects.
• Provide senior mechanical leadership and drive reliability improvements and major repairs.
• Coordinate recruitment, scheduling and resourcing for mechanical teams and projects.
• Engage with clients and site leadership to grow mining services and manage cost/quality.
