Job summary

JDS Energy & Mining Inc. is seeking a Mining Engineer to support Project Managers by completing open pit and underground mine engineering, design, planning and operating & capital cost estimation.

You will be assigned to a multitude of projects, including technical studies ranging from desktop studies to NI 43-101 compliant technical reports, technical project and due diligence reviews and onsite operational assistance.

Qualifications

• Mining engineering knowledge including open pit and underground design, planning and cost estimation.
• Strong ability to coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete open pit and underground mining engineering, design, planning and cost estimation (operating & capital).
• Work on multiple projects from desktop studies to NI 43-101 compliant technical reports and due diligence reviews.
• Provide onsite operational assistance and support to project teams.
