Job Description:

This individual is responsible for the preparation and advancement of development headings. They must demonstrate proficiency in operating MacLean Bolter and/or Jumbo, jackleg, stoper, installing ground support, drilling safety bays, advancing services, mucking, and prepping faces. Additionally, they will load and blast development headings and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. All tasks must be completed following company procedures, government regulations, and manufacturer specifications.

Must Have:

• Employees must have a working knowledge and skills in Development Mining.
• Promotes safety and follows company procedures.
• Ability to work in a safe and productive manner and to safely direct the activities of less skilled employees.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Commitment to housekeeping and delivering quality, professional results.
• Some Specialty Module Training requires prerequisite modules that might not be listed. MTCU guidelines will be followed.
