Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited in Canada is seeking a Winter 27 Mine Engineering (Production) Co-op Student to support QA/QC duties for drill and blast and assist in data collection.

You must be enrolled in an undergraduate mining engineering program and in your university's co-op; you will work with the Production Engineering team, adhere to safety standards, and gain hands-on experience at Meadowbank Complex.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate mining engineering program.
• Enrolled in university's formal Co-op program.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Promote a safety mindset and adhere to AEM standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC on the drill and blast patterns in the field.
• Collect and compile QA/QC data.
• Communicate QA/QC findings to the Engineering team.
