Job summary

Orano Canada is seeking a General Supervisor, Mine Maintenance to lead and continuously improve the mine maintenance program at McClean Lake Operations in northern Saskatchewan. This role reports to the Mine Manager and demands strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and safety focus.

The successful candidate will manage two Maintenance Supervisors and Planners while driving reliability initiatives and Operational Excellence in a remote, fly-in/fly-out setting.

Qualifications

• Significant mine/industrial maintenance leadership experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Industrial.
• Experience with reliability-based maintenance and Operational Excellence.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with maintenance reporting and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the mine maintenance program.
• Lead planning, scheduling and budgeting for maintenance.
• Coach Supervisors and Planners; strengthen training.
• Manage inventory, costs, and warehouse efficiency.
• Establish documentation systems and performance metrics.
• Promote Operational Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Foster safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional communication across crews.
