Description

We are seeking a Mine Maintenance Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent, this role involves overseeing asset reliability, maintenance strategies, planning, and the integration of technology within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop work management systems and business intelligence: Create standard procedures, optimize resource utilization, participate in planning, define and monitor KPIs, and develop business reports.
  2. Health & Safety and Risk Management: Collaborate on maintenance procedures, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
  3. Life Cycle Asset Management and Reliability: Develop cost models, oversee root cause analyses, coordinate testing, and improve asset reliability.
  4. Reporting, Budgeting, and Cost Control: Assist in budget development, analyze performance, and prepare financial and KPI reports.
  5. Engineering and Project Management: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, support projects, and develop engineering solutions for asset reliability.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • P. Eng certification or eligibility to obtain it
  • 5+ years of mining industry experience, with asset reliability expertise

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mobile Maintenance and PowerBI proficiency
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
  • Knowledge of Ontario mining regulations and health & safety programs
