Reporting to the Senior Mine Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for fueling the mining equipment. Ensure all activities are carried out in conformance with New Gold’s policies and procedures, including cultural, safety, and environmental standards.
This is a temporary 3-month contract with the potential for a full-time opportunity based on the candidate's attendance, positive work attitude, and willingness to learn. This role operates from 6 a.m./p.m. to 6 p.m./a.m. and requires the successful candidate to drive their personal vehicle to and from the site.
This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is required. The successful applicant will receive on-the-job training to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required for the position. We are looking for an applicant who demonstrates great attendance, a positive work attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Note: Applicants local to the Rainy River District will be given priority.
