  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the design, evaluation, and performance of water management infrastructure
  • Provide input to mine planning activities, ensuring water management considerations are integrated
  • Identify and manage risks related to extreme weather, flooding, and system capacity
  • Oversee and interpret water quantity and water quality monitoring programs
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations related to water management
  • Support permitting, reporting, and regulatory engagement as required
  • Work closely with operations teams to provide practical, real-time water management solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of water management systems and practices

  • Strong understanding of surface water hydrology, stormwater management, and industrial water management systems
  • Experience supporting operational environments, beyond purely consulting or academic work
  • Familiarity with water management infrastructure (e.g., ponds, ditches, pumping systems, treatment interfaces) and design
  • Knowledge of Canadian environmental regulations (experience in NL considered an asset)
