Mine Hoisting Service Engineer - HMI, Cyber Security

Join ABB as a Mine Hoisting Service Engineer - HMI, Cyber Security.

This position reports to the Hoisting Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead network and cybersecurity initiatives for ABB Hoisting services across North America.
• Install, update, and configure Human Machine Interfaces and advanced hoist monitoring solutions.
• Work with cybersecurity officers to ensure compliance with industry security standards.
• Ensure seamless delivery of remote services, set up connections, and maintain continuous functionality for customers.
• Analyze requirements, implement best practices, and support sales teams with technical demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Technical/engineering degree with 5+ years in cybersecurity management.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; fluent in English and French (Spanish is an asset).
• Knowledge of industrial automation, OT network solutions, cybersecurity standards (ISA/IEC 62443), firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Certifications: GICSP, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP; experience in risk assessments, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and network design remediation.
• Valid passport and driver’s license; ability to work in Canada, U.S., and Mexico.
