Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mining/geotechnical engineering required or expected
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility highly preferred
  • 3–6 years open-pit mining or mine engineering experience
  • Valid BC Class 5 license and access to transportation

Responsibilities

  • Support safe and efficient mine operation through analysis and planning
  • Develop drill & blast designs and optimize fragmentation
  • Prepare weekly and monthly mine plans and long-term schedules
  • Support geotechnical risk management and slope design
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to meet targets
