Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is located in Timmins, Ontario.The Bell Creek Complex located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty metre deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Millwright to join ourBell Creek MineinPorcupine, ON., on afull-time basis. The schedule for this position is 5-5-4,10hrs/day alternating days and nights each week.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

In this position, you will safely and efficiently perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance and repairs for hoisting plant, loading pockets, fuel distribution systems, rock breakers, mine water systems, pump stations and water treatment plant; troubleshoot and perform hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs to machinery; some shop fabrication work and other duties as assigned.

More About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

• Licensed as an Industrial Millwright or registered apprentice
• Previous hoisting experience is an asset
• Must be comfortable working at heights, around mine shaft or elevated platforms
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is an asset
• Ability to reach schematic drawings
• Rigging and welding experience
• Practice good housekeeping and have a commitment to safety
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
