Qualifications

• Must have a recognized Millwright License and Grade 12 Diploma or GED.
• Experience with machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is essential.

Rotating Mon-Thurs 4x10 6:00a-4:00p & 4:00p-2:00am

Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, align, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, inspect, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment
• Diagnose irregularities and malfunctions, make adjustments, and repair or replace parts
• Perform cleaning, adjusting, and lubricating machinery
• Set up and operate welding equipment including arc, MIG, TIG, plasma, and gas
• Prepare bases for equipment through welding, cutting, and machining
• Use blueprints, diagrams, schematic drawings, and manuals to determine work procedures
• Operate hand and power tools for installation and repair; use larger machine tools as needed
• Use hoisting and lifting equipment such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts for positioning large machines or parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Fabricate tooling for fixtures or welding cells to replace worn or broken tooling
• Service and program robotic welders, including writing or re-teaching programs
• Report work performed and time spent to Maintenance Group Leader or designate
• Complete maintenance work requests and CIFs as required
• Perform all other relevant duties

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED
• Recognized Millwright License (C of Q)
