Job description

Millwright -We are seeking experienced Millwrights (433A) to join a well-established employer in Mitchell, ON! The Industrial Millwright (433A) is responsible for performing daily preventative maintenance on the plant's equipment and facilities. The facility predominantly houses high-speed packaging equipment, as well as homogenizers and separators, and other related equipment/machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and other industrial systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints for equipment maintenance and repair.
• Utilize mechanical skills for welding, repair, and maintenance production.

Must Haves

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Strong understanding of industrial mechanics, including blueprints and hydraulics.
• Possession of a valid license for Millwright work.
• At least 3 years of experience in millwrighting.
• Minimum 2 years of Canadian experience in welding, repair, and maintenance production.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication (preferred, not required).

Work Environment & Shifts

A large, well-equipped food and beverage production facility with 75% of the equipment upgraded in the last five years. This is a unionized environment with a MAD rotation shift from 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and 11:00pm-7:30am. There is a $6.00/hour shift premium available between 6:00pm-6:00am, and overtime is available on the weekends!

The pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
