Ideal candidates have a Red Seal certification, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong mechanical and mathematical skills. You will thrive in a physically demanding but supportive environment, with night shift options available. Competitive hourly rates ranging from $42 to $45 plus premiums for night shifts and certifications are offered.

Position: Journeyman (Millwrights)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Maintenance

Shift Schedule: Night Shift (Sunday to Thursday, 10PM - 6:30AM) with flexibility of working afternoons as well.

We are looking for a Journeyman to join our Maintenance team! You will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line.

Compensation:

• Day Shift Rate: Non-Ticketed: $42/hour & Ticketed: $45/hour
• Afternoon Shift Rate: Additional $2/hour
• Night Shift Rate: Additional $6/hour
• Dual Ticket Premium: $1/hour (Power Engineer, Boiler Ticket)
• Other Premiums Available (First Aid, Trainer, Lead Hand)

Responsibilities include:

• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Inspecting machinery for irregularities.
• Operating hoisting/lifting devices and machine tools.
• Installing, aligning, disassembling, and moving machinery.
• Adjusting machinery and replacing defective parts.
• Performing routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.

Other requirements:

• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to work in Abbotsford and Mission, BC.
• Valid driver’s license.
