Job description

Are you a 433A Licensed Industrial Millwright seeking a permanent night shift? A leading food manufacturing company is expanding its maintenance team due to growth initiatives.

Shift Details

Straight night shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Stable & consistent schedule. Compensation: approximately $45/hour plus premiums and overtime pay.

Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and malfunctions on various production lines, including mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
2. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, such as cleaning, lubricating equipment, replacing faulty or worn mechanical components, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
3. Complete regular preventive maintenance checklists on machinery, including inspecting and servicing pumps, chains, belts, pulleys, control panels, valves, air solenoids, actuators, and checking oil levels.
4. Request spare parts when needed and maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Millwright 433A, certified to work in Ontario.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and packaging.
• Strong knowledge of electronic controls, high-speed packaging equipment, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Superior knowledge of packaging line setup, palletizers, tube lines, and mixers.
• Boiler experience is an asset.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment.
