As a Maintenance Millwright on our team, your primary responsibilities will include examination, troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Additionally, you will provide technical support to our production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all production equipment within the facility. Utilizing our internal asset management system, your daily routine will include preventative, corrective, and facility maintenance. Additional tasks or duties may be required to meet operational demands.

Job Responsibilities :
- Read equipment manuals and blueprints to successfully complete installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective components
- Operate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup of equipment
- Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Complete work orders according to PM and CM schedules
- Comply with all applicable legislative, food safety, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Ensure work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times
- Work safely in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required
The Ideal Candidate :
- Ticketed in the Millwright trade
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (food manufacturing highly preferred)
- High aptitude with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proven experience with lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG)
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Thrives in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
