Ross Machine Shop Limited is looking for fulltime MILLWRIGHT or MILLWRIGHT Apprentice to join our team in Regina. At Ross Machine Shop you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of distinct projects such as Valves, Gearboxes, Bearing Assemblies, Rebuilding of Pumps, Motor and Pump Installations, and Laser Coupling Alignments.

The successful candidate will be a JP Millwright or Millwright Apprentice with 1 year of experience and must be able to pass practical tests.

General Duties & Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, align, take apart and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, cylinders, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to the layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, come-alongs and other devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools, if you are trained to do so.
- Clean lubricate
