What role you will play in our team

As a Millwright you will be responsible to perform maintenance in a safe and efficient manner according to established refinery and trade related practices and procedures.

What you will do
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of safety when working alone or with others.
  • Perform refinery maintenance and construction work safely, while utilizing trade skills to include:
    • Repairing or reconditioning equipment
    • Participating with others in the trade
    • Group in identifying and implementing improvements to streamline work practices and procedures
    • Enrolling in and passing the site Maintenance Advanced Technician program within 24 months of starting as a qualified tradesman
  • Perform maintenance work in a flexible manner involving trade participation.
  • Responsible for the quantity, quality and continuous improvement of the maintenance work performed.
  • Share accountability for ensuring equipment is maintained to a high degree of predictable reliability.
  • Accountable to ensure the implementation of activities meet established loss control and environmental standards.
About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is a minimum requirement for this position.
  • Alberta or Interprovincial journeymen ticket.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Computer skills are a necessity with a good working knowledge of Windows based programs.
  • Able to work individually as well as in a team situation with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
