Position Overview:

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, Millwrights are responsible for the repair and maintenance of on-site structures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and promote safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, machinery installation, and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, or process specifications.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventative or corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Millwright red seal trade qualification.
• Industrial experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shift schedules.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
