Job summary

Primoris Canada is seeking a Millwright to install, maintain and repair stationary industrial machinery and equipment at Fort McMurray. The job may be indoors or outdoors and can be physically demanding. A 7 on/7 off shift is offered with camp accommodation available.

Requirements include a Registered Millwright journeyman, CSO Regional ticket, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong teamwork. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Millwright journeyman credential.
• CSO Regional ticket.
• Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, OH&S standards.
• Read diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery or parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
• Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

COMPANY PROFILE Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

Summary

The Millwright is involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.

Location

Location: CNRL Maintenance (Fort McMurray AB)

Anticipated Start Date: August 27, 2026

Shift: 7&7 days

Accommodation: Camp available

Pay

Hourly Rate: $53.56 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)

Job Duties
