Job description

Position : Millwright
Location : Hearst, ON

Responsibilities:

  1. Work in a team to ensure preventive and curative maintenance of production equipment.
  2. Participate in the improvement of equipment in place and the implementation of new equipment.
  3. Provide support to production teams.
  4. You need to be safety-conscious, energetic, and able to understand your role in our team.
  5. Promote and provide a safe workplace, seek improvements, and support Health & Safety program.
  6. Maintain communications program to keep employees informed.
  7. Support compliance with collective agreements and sound union/management/employee relations.
  8. Report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Preference given to those possessing a Red Seal Certificate
  2. Education: Two-year college diploma preferred
  3. Experience: Extensive mechanical experience is an asset
  4. Language: Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
