Location: Hamilton, Ontario
Pay Range: $42–$52/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a skilled, dual-ticketed Millwright Electrician to jointheir growing team!
This role supports succession planning efforts and helps manage the increasing number of machines and maintenance demands on site.You’ll play a critical role in installing new equipment, maintaining machinery, and being a trusted in-house electrical resource, helpingthem keep things moving efficiently.
You'll report to theProduction Lead and work alongside a solid team that values skill, dedication, and collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing:
Install, disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and plant components.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HMIs, PLCs, electronic control systems, and communication networks.
Program PLCs, configure SCADA systems, and read technical diagrams and manuals.
Retrieve and input work orders through the Maintenance Program and help order necessary supplies.
Operate forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, lathes, milling machines, and other maintenance equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve equipment and process efficiency.
Train operators on updated operating methods.
Perform precision fabrication, welding, and modifications to machinery as needed.
Help install, hook up, test, and debug new machines, ensuring full operational readiness.
What We’re Looking For:
Valid 433A Millwright License and 442A Electrician License (both required).
5+ years of recent, hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
Ability to operate and safely work with forklifts, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, lathes, and milling machines (certifications can be arranged).
Proficient with technical drawings and diagrams.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Decision-making ability is based on safety, efficiency, and good judgment.
PLC programming experience is an asset.
Computer literacy (basic maintenance, tracking software knowledge).
Someone who lives within an hour drive of Hamilton, ON.
