JOB SUMMARY :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure machinery operates optimally
  • Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment as per plans
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions
  • Align and calibrate machinery using precision tools
  • Fabricate parts required for installation
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and team members to optimize machinery performance
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Certified Millwright 433A ticket required
  • Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps, and machinery rebuilds
  • Understanding of electrical components is an asset
  • Experience with boiler systems is an asset
