Job summary

Bimbo Canada in Hamilton region is seeking a Millwright Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) for a full-time, permanent role at 745 Nebo Rd, Hannon ON.

The shift is Continental/Rotating. Salary is based on level of apprentice, with premiums including $1.25 Dual Ticket, $1.10 Night Shift, $1.00 Weekend, plus $175 Safety Boots Reimbursement, $500 Tool Allowance, paid overtime, PPE and uniform.

Qualifications

• Must hold 3rd or 4th Millwright license.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an asset.
• CMMS knowledge would be an asset.
• Adherence to safety requirements and policies, LOTO included.

Hiring Requirements

As a Skilled Trade Associate at Bimbo Canada,

• Must hold at least appropriate 3rd or 4th Millwright License
• Experience in food manufacturing and industrial setting is an asset
• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) knowledge would be an asset
• Adherence with safety requirements and policies, eg.
• Ensures lock out tag out policy adherence is enforced by self and others
• Ensures all procedures are in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Safety Committee programs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
