Qualifications

We're seeking a Millwright Apprentice to ensure the smooth operation of our nutraceutical production facilities. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a range of equipment, from processing machinery to utility and production systems. Your role will involve preventive maintenance, equipment installation, training, and occasional welding/fabrication. Must have 2+ years' experience and strong knowledge of compressed air and HVAC systems. Only 3rd or 4th year registered apprentices will be considered.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm

In this role you will:

  • Troubleshoot all production, utility, and processing equipment
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Repair all equipment and facilities
  • Install and train on all new equipment
  • Perform equipment inspections
  • Weld mild and stainless steels and fabricate parts
  • Assist operators in setup and tooling

You have:

  • Mechanical background with some electrical experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of related equipment
  • Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum pumps, and HVAC equipment
  • GMP knowledge is an asset
  • A driver's license and flexibility to work at multiple facilities in the Lower Mainland when required.
