Job description

Our client is a leading food manufacturer located in London, ON. This position is for a straight afternoon shift (2:30 - 11:00). Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the millwright will perform maintenance and repair of all facility, production, and packaging machinery, as well as refrigeration equipment. The role involves working on projects to improve safety, production, and environmental standards at the plant. REQUIREMENTS - Millwright

  • 3+ years of experience as a licensed Millwright.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of PLCs and equipment automation.
  • Valid Refrigeration "B" license for Ontario is a strong asset.
  • Experience in industrial plant maintenance, including installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, rail assemblies, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, and packaging machinery.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machinery, systems, and facilities quickly.
  • Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Millwright

  • Quickly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production or refrigeration equipment issues.
  • Follow preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel in a team environment.
  • Participate in assigned projects.
  • Accurately document all work performed, including parts, tools used, and work required for plant equipment.
  • Promote and work in a safe environment.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or designate.
