Millwrights / 4th Year Apprentice

Our team is looking for 4th year apprentices or experienced Millwrights for our plant operations located in London, Ontario. Join our diverse, talented, and dedicated team and become part of an industry-leading company committed to being the most successful food company in the world.

• Hourly rate: $38.35 / hr + $0.35 / hr
• Afternoons 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will perform maintenance and repair of all facility, production, packaging machinery, and refrigeration equipment. This position involves working on projects to improve safety, production, and environmental standards at the plant.

Key Accountabilities

• Quickly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues on refrigeration, hot water, production equipment, or facilities and grounds.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel in a team environment.
• Work on assigned projects.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures.
• Accurately document all work performed, parts and tools used, and additional work needed for plant equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or designate.
• Promote and work in a safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a licensed Millwright.
• Valid Refrigeration “B” license for Ontario is a strong asset.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of PLCs and automation.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for machinery, systems, and facilities.
• Experience in industrial plant maintenance, including installation, repair, and overhaul of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, and packaging machinery.
• Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
