Job summary

InVision Staffing Services Inc. is seeking a Licensed Millwright to join our client's manufacturing team in Ontario. The role focuses on installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment to support production and facilities operations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, dismantling/assembling parts, and calibrating equipment with precision tools. A Valid 433A license and and 4+ years of relevant experience are required, with strong teamwork and safety best

Qualifications

• Valid 433A License is required.
• Minimum 4 years of machinery and construction equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Millwrighting experience.
• Familiar with milling machines, lathes, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and tool handling.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-directed with time-sensitive delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Dismantle and reassemble machine parts with hand and power tools.
• Analyze machine errors and work with operators to resolve issues.
• Repair broken parts using welding or brazing as needed.
• Calibrate and align equipment using micrometers and plumb bobs.
• Follow technical manuals and safety policies consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our client, a leading manufacturing company has an opening for a Licensed Millwright -to join their team. This role is responsible for installation, preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment or components that support production and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, observing, and performing diagnosis of mechanical equipment failures and making necessary corrective actions and/or recommendations
• Dismantling and assembling of various machine parts in order to perform repairs using hand and power tools
• Analyzing machine errors and work with operators to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Repairing broken or defective machine parts, as required, with the use of welding and/or brazing tools
• Using specialized tools, such as micrometers and plumb bobs, to calibrate and align equipment
• Reviewing and following highly technical and complex machinery manuals
• Consistently adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as many be assigned

Qualifications

• Valid 433A License Required
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with machinery and construction equipment.
• Minimum 3 years’ Millwrighting experience
• Good familiarity with different types of manufacturing equipment, including milling machines, lathes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong hand-eye coordination and flexibility using tools
• Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Operating with a sense of urgency and consistently delivering results.
• Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Self-directed with a commitment to achieving objectives in a time-sensitive environment
• Capable of safely lifting up to 60lbs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to simplify complex problems, conduct thorough analyses, and provide clear recommendations.
