Qualifications

  • Completion of Millwright Apprenticeship or minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Skilled in stick and TIG welding; MIG is a strong asset.

Base pay range

CA$42.00/yr - CA$45.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and yard machinery, aligned with production schedules
  • Diagnose and repair equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot issues with yard equipment and processing lines
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Fabricate components and parts based on blueprints or verbal instructions
  • Install, commission, and test new machinery
  • Perform welding repairs on various equipment

What We’re Looking For

  • Certification: Must hold a valid Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright 433A or 426A) recognized by the Ontario College of Trades
  • Experience: Completion of a Millwright Apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a licensed Millwright
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; fabrication experience required
  • Welding Proficiency: Skilled in stick and TIG welding (multi-position); MIG is a strong asset
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills required
  • Tools & Licensing: Must have own tools and a valid G-class driver’s license with a clean abstract
